I am new to the sand, but not new to off road. I am totally old school and low budget. I want to be a FREAK. I have a 1791 cc air cooled with dual dalarto's. Here is a shot of my buggy.

Too Funny! Laughing If not mistaken that that Green rail is a Canadian Rail? MY buddy built used it alot it used to run Rotory power. Now he builds long travels. The style is almost the same as mine but mine is about a foot longer.

Yes covers are a must! It's amazing how sand finds it's way through and plugs the filters.
